Healing Is Cute Until

Healing Is Cute Until....

Healing looks so poetic on social media
Candles. Journals. Affirmations.
Aesthetic quotes about boundaries and self-love.
It’s giving “main character energy.”
It’s giving “soft girl era.”
It’s giving… a lie.

Because healing real healing  is not just cute.
It’s messy. It’s uncomfortable.
It’s crying over things you used to laugh off.
It’s saying “no” for the first time and watching people flinch.
It’s realizing that half your personality was just survival mode dressed up as charm.

It’s lonely sometimes.
You lose people.
You lose patterns.
You lose the version of yourself that kept everyone comfortable.

But you gain peace.
You gain clarity.
You gain the ability to sit with yourself and not feel like you’re disappearing.

Healing isn’t a glow-up.
It’s a breakdown and rebuild.
It’s not always pretty, but it’s always worth it.

So if you’re in the thick of it
If you’re crying, doubting, isolating, boundary-setting, overthinking, and growing
You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re just healing.

And that’s the most beautiful thing you’ll ever do.
